Personal Project
People often take resources and exploits them from our environment for granted. We only realise the preciousness and maximum capacity the ecosystem can provide us. These two pieces of illustrations are produced remember and immortalise the beauty of nature, as well as to raise awareness in environmental issues.
I have picked durian and mangosteen as subject for each of my illustrations, which both are known as the king and the queen of fruits respectively.
Moreover, these two fruits are notorious of their appearance, and represent South-East Asian countries. I employed Bluehonest, a characteristic typeface with an elegant tone for the title, whereas a neutral sans serif font, Helvetica Light for subtitles.
